Digital Lifestyle of a Promo Junkie and a Winner

Hi there, thanks for visiting my page.  I'm Nelina Gatong, 42, single parent, a promo junkie, a small home-based digital photo printing business owner and I'm here to document my day in Blogopolis:Shifting Gears wherein I attended for free and to thank all my sponsors who gave me the prizes I received and that what I'm using these days.

I love joining online contests, oh no, I love winning and that's why I'm addicted to promos. I was able to attend the Nuffnang Blogopolis event in Dusit Thani Hotel last February 21, 2015 where I got the ticket for free together with my cousin who won a ticket too. Here's #MyCongrats.

My day started with an alarm from my LED lamp with digital clock that I received two weeks ago from Charmee by joining their Girl Club.  Anyone can still join and win a LED lamp by answering  their everyday questions.

Going to events and spending time away from home means no income. And so by joining contests to win prizes will provide us the things we need. As a promo junkie, I always check my Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and emails, every hour and everyday for latest promos, freebies and list of winners of course. I spend not less than 5 hours a day and with this lifestyle, I'm so updated of promos, news, and technology.  I brought my new O+ 360 Extreme which I just  got from Yugatech contest last week and I got a chance to personally thank Mr. Abe Olandres.  There was no sim included and so I bought a Globe Kapamilya sim and I'm loving it.

I'm a newbie in blogging and still learning what blogging will give me rewards later on.  There was an issue brought up that some are blogging just to get freebies and invites.  Well what's wrong with freebies, and giveaways are part of enticing participants to come.  I love freebies but most of what I got are prizes and I deserve those.  Joining contests is fun and depressing too but in the end it's not the prize, it's who you are.  I need to be reminded always by this video:

Well I cannot live without gadgets, with these gadgets, I won prizes I need and things I never imagine I will ever have, and I hope to get an iPhone this time because my S4 which I got from PLDT as a prize is already broken.   I promise if I get an iPhone6 I will take care of it as I'm taking care of my one and only precious daughter who is celebrating her birthday today.  By the way, she will get my O+360 as a gift.

During the event, I got freebies and of course I need to be prepared and be online for posting photos to get prizes too.  Well I didn't win any major prize but being there is a big prize for me.  Seeing again the famous bloggers and learning a thing or two is just overwhelming and giving good vibes and hope that blogging will make a difference.

There were bloggers who are judging promonatics or promo junkies and calling us promo maniacs, please understand that we put effort and time in joining contest and it's not just luck, it's a blessing if we got the prize and it's a blessing to share prizes too.  It's a source of income too for me and reaching our dreams.  We are developing logic and creativity and patience here and learning to be generous and meeting and making friends with online winners like me. This technology brought so much blessings for my family and I thank God for this digital life we are having.
